Interior painting, done properly
Most of an interior job happens before the first coat goes on. We move and cover furniture, mask floors and fittings, fill cracks and nail holes, sand back imperfections and spot-prime repairs. It's slower than going straight to the roller, but it's the difference between a finish that looks good on handover day and one that still looks good five years in.
Walls are finished in washable low-sheen, ceilings in flat, and trims, doors and frames in hard-wearing enamel. If you're living in the home while we work, we use low-odour Dulux paints and keep rooms usable — a typical bedroom takes a day or two, a full interior around a week.
Exterior painting for Canberra conditions
Canberra is hard on exterior paint: frosty winters, harsh UV and summer days over 35 degrees make cheap paint chalk, crack and peel early. We pressure-wash, scrape back anything loose, sand, prime bare timber and repair weatherboards or render before any colour goes on, then use exterior-grade Dulux coatings matched to the surface.
We also plan around the weather. Paint applied to frost-cold surfaces or in extreme heat fails early, so exterior work gets scheduled for the right conditions, not the fastest calendar slot.
